Calliope: Chief muse of epic or lyrical poetry from Hellenistic times

She has returned, my friends! Or perhaps I should say he; I could easily name my sweet husband as the proper muse of this story. I think he's almost as excited about it as I am and has surprisingly contributed some awesome ideas to key parts in my book.
Anyway, it happened Friday afternoon and the effect was remarkable. I wonder sometimes if there really is some little sprite flying around a writer's head while they appear to be effortlessly (ha!) pulling all kinds of inspiration out of thin air...
Then I realize I know better. Consider the following:
"The Light of Christ is also described in the scriptures as 'the Spirit of Jesus Christ'...the Spirit of Christ can enlighten the inventor, the scientist, the painter, the sculptor, the composer, the architect, the author to produce great, even inspired things for the blessing and good of all mankind"
-President Boyd K. Packer
There's the true muse, folks. I think it's important to always acknowledge from whence all blessings flow. The Lord even cares about trivial things such as helping one of His daughters out of a writer's block rut. Thanks to Him and those who gave suggestions, we're back on track!
